I haven't been feeling very writey lately.
Blogging hasn’t been in the forefront of my mind. I’ve had my thumbs in a lot of blackberry pies lately (blackberry? Little Jack Horner … sat in a corner … eating his curds and whey … there’s a pie somewhere in there. Plum? Plum pie? What?), so Shannon’s turned this place into Shop-O-Blog Deluxe.
Which is totally fine, because I’d probably write about video games, anyway.
Because: I bought Spore yesterday, and promptly time-warped to 2 in the morning, somehow. I’ll have to do some screenshots and introduce you to the Sivort species as they seek to take over the lush planet of Toledo.
I started Twittering again. I’m assuming I’ll last about a week before I reach for the keyboard to twitter “headed to Taco Bell” and tally in my mind how many people will find that information beneficial. (Hint: not even me)
I got my beta invite to Daytum the other day, so here’s the official Cameron Daigle Daytum. Hooray for early invites - I managed to nab /cameron, which is a little nicety that hasn’t happened since the ill-fated Virb.
The Daytum folks have spectacular timing, as I was considering starting a personal log of some sort on my birthday (which, of course, I forgot about and didn’t do) — but Daytum is prettier than whatever I was going to throw together anyway, so consider my guilt assuaged.
As of now, I’m tracking coffee, recreational spending, lunch choices, free-time allotment, and Potent Potables. I’m allowed one more tracker, but I can’t decide what it should be yet. It’s hard to find stats that are easy to maintain without being completely uninteresting in terms of aggregated data.
So far, since I started on the 8th, I’ve imbibed 110 ounces of coffee. See? Fascinating. (Also, a little scary.)
